Denver Street Art

In 1991, then mayor of Denver, Federico Peña established an executive order that the Denver Public Art Program allocates 1% of budgeting construction projects to public art. Public spaces and government buildings now have great pieces of art that serve as conversation topics. This art has also spilled on to the streets and sides of buildings, giving street art, and making Denver an art lover’s dream destination.

Here are just a few of my favorite pieces of street art throughout downtown Denver.
